Wishing a very happy birthday to all of my fellow Gemini. Let me reintroduce myself. Living between NYC and Rome with frequent stops in Milan I have the rare opportunity and privilege of enjoying a variety of experiences, expanding my knowledge, meeting new people and sharing all of these things with you. I am Jamaican and married to an Italian. I love to cook and above all I love to eat. I love art, but especially still life with fruits and vegetables, table settings and people sitting at a table. I sometimes share recipes but mainly show dishes I have prepared or have enjoyed while eating in a restaurant or at the home of family or friends. Today begins a new year for me and I am grateful for all the things I was able to accomplish last year.

I would like to thank @klancycooks for inviting me to contribute two recipes and interviewing me for her spectacular global anthology of recipes, interviews and essays- For the Culture: Phenomenal Black Women and Femmes in Food. I contributed an article to the 15th anniversary edition of the international art and design journal @tlmag with the theme The Culture of the Object. My soup recipe was included in Food is a Mother - vol. 2 with all proceeds going to a NYC group assisting families facing difficulties with children 5 years old and younger. Thank you @anja and @mothertongue for including me. Finally, so proud of the Jamaican dinner organized together with @prmetis @simpleflair @caradavid @convey @stushinthebush in Milan that was featured in @vogueitalia. This was a fantastic experience featuring #italymeetsjamaica

On June 21st I will have the honor of collaborating with @chefalicedelcourt in Milan at the fabulous restaurant @erbabrusca πŸ™πŸ½ The theme is a Jamaican barbecue and I cannot believe how my new year is beginning. If you are in Milan do join us. You can find out about tickets on their website. Let’s see what else this year will bring.

Much love from somewhere in italy. Happy Summer and I hope that you will continue to follow me. Warmest regards, 🧑🧑🧑🧑
